Why is my Galaxy S6 not charging properly?

[AC Question]

I've dropped my phone several times on the floor, not from that high though, but now it's not charging fast like it's supposed to. I'm using the original charger and port but it's still not charging like normal. I'm not sure what to do. Also I'm a teen so, please keep in mind my parents will kill me if I tell them I have a problem with my phone or need to take it the shop after 6 months.... please try to keep away from shop solutions somehow LOL
