Lines through screen but not damaged/illegible

My Tab A 9.7 has lines/flickering through about 75% of the screen (closest to the home button). The screen is still usable (though barely at times) and fully responsive to touch. I've seen some reports of a loose connection internally, but nobody seems to have the same issue as I do. Have some pictures but this site won't let me post them it seems - considers external links spam???

Any idea if this is repairable/what the fix would be?

I have not - not even sure who to check with - was hoping that someone else may have seen such an issue and know who to talk to
