I've got a MacBook pro and Kies used to work fine with my old S2. I'd connect it to my mac with the usb, enter kies and there it was. Connected.
Now after the last update on Kies (and with an S5) I have connection issues. Firstly it won't connect to Kies but will have an endless "connecting" circle. To solve this, I have to unplug it then plug it back in again. If I unplug the S5 a second time to do something with it, I have to go through the same procedure.
Another thing I want to see if there's a fix for: When the S5 (which is up to date with lollipop) connects, I have to unlock it and allow the computer to recognise it. I know it's a safety issue but seeing as I only ever connect it to one computer for work (which is password protected anyway) there should be an option to turn this off or to permanently allow that computer to connect to it. Is there thats or of option that I haven't found yet?
