Why do I get a download speed of 18.8 on my Sony tv and 0.41 on my Panasonic

I have connected my android box to my Panasonic tv. It won't work because of the low speed. I have kodi loaded on a laptop which I use beside the tv, so it is not a router issue. The box works well on the Sony tv in the bedroom.
Is there something internal to the tv that I can reset?

Nothing in the TV would affect the speeds of the Android box. It's not governed by the TV. I'm thinking it's a poor wifi signal or too many devices using the WiFi channel ie interference

Or the path from your home to the server the TV is trying to connect to is slow. Speed isn't an absolute measure, it's speed between two devices, normally your computer and some server. So your laptop can be getting a 30mbps connection to a speed test server while your TV is getting a 1mbps connection to a different server - both through the same router. That's normal - it's just not usable if the speed is too slow.
