How do you stop your Samsung NotePro tablet from scanning for available WiFi networks?

A

AC Question

There are several old WiFi networks (probably saved) that I want to get rid of, but there is no option to do that. Long hold just gives "connect" button, there is no "forget" button. Some are probably hotels I stayed at, others I don't recognize. I want them gone and I want to prevent this tablet from scanning and auto connecting all the time.

1. You have to be at them to forget them. Having them there doesn't cost you anything, unless you have a few hundred, at least.

2. If you have scanning off, you'll still see scanning if you go to that screen - it's assumed that if you're there, it's to find a wifi signal, so the phone scans for them. (It stops as soon as you close that page.)
