Cannot connect Moto G 3 to my macbook via USB anymore

[AC Question]

I've looked through these forums to connect my MotoG 3 to my macbook in the past, and used to be able to. I have android file transfer installed, as well as the developer options enabled and USB debugging mode on. All these would be enough for me to access files on my phone in the past, but now it doesn't work.

Would anyone be able to help me out ? Thanks in advance!
