Why can't I unlock my phone that I locked trying to check something out?

[AC Question]

Several days ago I "locked" my phone using a password. I never downloaded an app "Android Device Manager" on my phone, but somehow it showed up in my phone. I've signed into all of my accounts and I've switched this "Android Device Manager" to OFF. I've done everything else that I'd read about to make me NOT have to type in my Password in order to access my phone. It automatically does it (locks my phone) after 30 minutes of no activity. I also have Chimera Modules in my phone, and they, too, weren't there before. My phone has been acting up and doing things that I haven't done... ALL BY ITSELF! ... which is a bit freaky to say the least. Please, PLEASE, please let me know what I can do about this. It's driving me nuts. Thx.
