Why Does my Galaxy S7 Keep Pausing while Streaming?

AC Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 that I got two months ago (roughly the end of September 2016) and these past two weeks, whenever I'm streaming, it will pause.

It has done this with social media videos, YouTube videos, and Spotify (but not on my music library). It does it whether I'm on WiFi, and on 4G (maybe on 3G too, I wasn't paying that much attention).

It will pause when I've got the screen on and off, when I'm using headphones, Bluetooth, or the phone's speaker.

Usually it will pause between 5 minutes and 15 minutes of streaming.

The only solution I have found online so far is that other users have noticed this happens when the phone is on Power Saving Mode, but I don't put my phone on Power Saving Mode until my phone battery is at 15%, so that solution doesn't apply to my situation.

Please help me out because nothing I am researching is helping! Thanks guys!

NEVER let the battery run down to less than 40%. Constantly running it down to 15% could be the reason you're having the problem (you may have killed the battery).

The usual cause of buffering (which is what it sounds like) is a slow internet connection between your provider and the server you're streaming from, but with 2 different connections and 3 different sources, that's not likely. (The reason it will happen in power saving mode is that the way the mode works is to run the CPU slower - that saves battery - and causes the video to pause every so often.)
