OK, I've seen this issue all over the Internet and the fix does not work for me. What's going on is that after a while I can no longer download from the Play Store using my 4G network. When I get home and turn on wifi I can download to my hearts content. Mobile was working great for nearly a full 24 hour day until I tried to download something again through the play store. It's not just the play store, however, I can't even download from websites using any browser! No pics, no pdf, no text files, nothing. Not until I get to a place that has wifi will it finally download apps and pictures and such.

I have factory restored my note 4 running all the latest software on 6.0.1 and the latest firmware from Samsung because it just up and wouldn't let me download anything via my 4G. My phone was working awesomely until this afternoon. I was able to download normally from the play Store and pics from websites but this afternoon it wouldn't let me do anything. Now, it's not my 4G network because I use my phone as a hotspot for my iPad mini 4 and I'm able to download everything there just fine.

Can someone tell me what is going on with Android that this happens constantly? This isn't the first time. I've reset my phone once or twice before because of this issue and its aggravating me to no end. This will be the third time I factory reset my phone and I don't plan on doing it again.

Wow. Android Central? I think the "Get Answers" tag should be changed to "Get Ignored." I see multiple people with problems and not get answered. My issue is plaguing a lot of people and no matter where I go no one gets a working fix at those places either. Thanks for the help, android central. I guess you don't know everything about Android after all.

Welcome to Android Central. I'm sorry you feel that you are are not getting your questions answered quickly enough.

Please remember that everyone here is a volunteer, no one gets paid to answer questions or find solutions. I understand that, for you, the situation is urgent; we try, in as timely a manner as possible, to help when we can, but most of us have other things going on in our lives, such as jobs, children, etc. It is also possible that no one has a working solution for you at this time.

Also, please keep in mind that making angry or rude comments will probably not encourage any of the volunteers here to offer assistance any faster.

We are a bunch of volunteers that when OUR time permits we try to assist. We all have lives you know! The fact you have found this issue elsewhere with no valid solutions means we do not have a magic wand to cure all ills.

It is possible your thread was seen but nobody had a solution, regardless, although the problem is frustrating, there is no need to be abusive and sarcastic. Personally, when I see threads worded in this manner, I avoid them. I don't have to answer any thread but I like to help people who appreciate the advice offered.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry about your frustration. As Pugs1957 mentioned, this is a community forum, and the badged Ambassadors (like me) as well as all of the other great community members (like Pugs) are all volunteers who do what we can (when we're not doing our day jobs) to answer what we can. This is a huge forum with hundreds of new posts per day, so it's always possible that a post can get buried before it gets noticed. Try to be patient and persistent -- thanks!

As to your question, the first thing I'd do is discuss the issue with your carrier, since it only seems to be happening on mobile data. You could also try going to your APN settings and disabling IPv6 (if possible).

I second the "next time it stops downloading, take it to your carrier" suggestion.
