I can't turn on my samsung galaxy s3 mini

In the morning I unplugged my phone from the charger (it was 100% charged) and used it for a while. After a few minutes I tried to unlock the phone but the screen freezed. It was freezed for like 5 minutes and then I held the power button and the screen turned off. I'm trying to turn my phone on the whole day. Maybe like 3 months ago I bought a new battery into my phone but it wasn't original samsung but Blue Star for Galaxy Ace 2. The seller told me this battery will work the same as the original battery from samsung. I have also tried putting in my old samsung battery but there are no signs of life. And I have this phone for 3 years. Did the battery or phone die?

It's never a good idea to use batteries not designed for your device. Can't answer whether its the phone or battery on a forum. Take it to a repair shop or at least try the correct battery

I'm inclined to agree with Pugs. Taking the device to a repair shop is probably the best move to make.
