I recently switched over from iOS and I am having issue with the Facebook App. On the iPhone I used to be able to copy the video link of a facebook video and share it within a text message to my friends. On the android there is no option to send the video link as a text message. I am only allowed to save the video (on Facebook) or send the link through the Facebook messenger app.

    Is there anyway around this??

Not that anyone knows of otherwise they would have posted I guess. I myself dont. So I guess this post was pretty useless in general. Dang. Good luck

This is a bit of a workaround, and might only apply to the Facebook mobile site (because I don't use the app on my phone): Start playing the video, then long-press it and Download the video. This should save as an mp4 file in your Download directory. You can then email the video (don't text it, because it will exceed the maximum file size for MMS message attachments). Or you could upload it to your Google Photos or Google Drive, and then share the link privately via text messaging.
