    I put in a new SIM card on a Samsung J5 phone. Some updates started to download automatically. Since then, this message (unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped.) continually pops up with no other option (like how to fix it ) than to hit "OK".

    Hi, try performing a factory reset on the device - especially if you've just installed some updates.
