S6 edge battery life really low but im pretty sure it used to be good before.

So my phone died out so quickly like if it is 90 percent and I use Snapchat at night for 30mins-2hr the next morning it will be dead. Do I need to replace the battery or is it something to do with my apps? I have rebooted it and reset it a lot of times. It also heard up quite a lot

If it gets hot, replace, especially if your battery usage stats indicate nothing amiss.
