Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Won't Boot Into Home Screen

Kind of a serious problem here, where my Tab 4 (10.1) won't boot past the Samsung logo. It'll get to the point where it's swirling stars around the logo and making the usual bootup noises, but it just stays there and does not boot into the home screen.

Could this be a hardware; ie. motherboard or battery issue, or does it sound more like a software-based issue? I booted into the standard recovery and tried wiping data/factory reset, and also did a battery pull. No difference.

Very much so sounds like hardware issue. Specially if you have already performed a wipe.

Nope. Solved the problem by reflashing stock firmware via Kies. Easy peasy.

Interesting. I'm glad the issue wasn't hardware related.
