I've had a Google Nexus 5 for a couple of years and have been quite happy with it. However, now that the (probably) last security update for 6.0.1 has been released, I need to find another phone that will run Nougat and be upgraded by Google for the next two years.

I have a few requirements but, I think, nothing that necessitates a top-of-the-line phone.

    1. $400 max price. See? No top-of-the-line for me.
    2. As clean an Android as possible. (And two years of updates.)
    3. A camera at least as good as the one on the Nexus 5 (I'm thinking evening shots here - the Nexus 5 has been fine for me - and daylight shots including panoramas are also fine).
    4. 5" screen (although slightly larger might be okay but I worry about carrying a larger phone on my belt).
    5. I'd love to have expandable storage using a micro-SD but this isn't a requirement.

So? What say ye? Help is appreciated.
