I cant clean my Galaxy S7 Active screen

I have had this phone for a little over 2 months and I can't clean the screen. When I clean it with water it will appear clean, but when I wait about 30 minutes it's all back. And now the touch screen is turning unusable, on most places of the phone it's very sticky and hard to run your finger over it.

Glasses cleaner works well. Alcohol (ispropyl) wipes...

Welcome to Android Central! Is there a screen protector? Or did the phone come with a thin protective film on the screen (that was meant to be removed after unboxing)?
