why is my asus smart phone wifi not able to connect to a blackberry mobile hotspot

Am having an issue when am trying to connect my Asus smart phone WiFi to a blackberry mobile hotspot, the WiFi seems to be locked because I its been showing me this WPA/WPA2 PSK, then after some series of trying to connect, it will end up saying it's secured. Please how can I sort it out and solve this problem.

If it's secure, it needs a password to connect to it. (And if you're connecting to someone's hotspot without his knowledge, you're violating federal law if you're in the US. Local laws too.)
