cannot get into galaxy s5

I now have a galaxy s7 edge but still have my last phone which was an s5. I completely forget the password is set for it and cannot Get into it at all it gives me no options to reset it. I've tried going into device manager from my s7 and changing the password but it won't let me. any options? I want to get into it without having to factory reset it. any info would be great help. thanks to any replies

Try Samsung's Find My Mobile site. I think you can even set up a new account if you don't have one. Then set a new Lock from there.

No, you need to set it up on the device. Only solution is ADM i guess

yeah I have a Samsung account and use the same one on my s7

it said I already had a lock and it's unnecessary for Google to set up another one bc I have an existing one

If you log into Samsung Find My Mobile, on the top left of the screen your current device should be shown. Click the down arrow and it should show all devices registered to that account. Select the S5 and unlock from there
