My 8,4 tab pro wouldn't shut down. Battery went dead.

It charges and when powered up it stops on Samsung screen.tried starting in safe mode .tab 8,4 screen just flashes when the buttons are held down

That sounds like it needs a ROM reflash. Can you get it into Download mode when it's charged? (create a free account here ['Register']) so we can keep the conversation in one thread.
