I have bought a HTC 626 after a few years of using a Motorola Moto, and I'm missing the Motorola interface, which I found more user friendly. Is there a way of rooting the 626 and installing the Motorola Rom. Or, in order to go back to the batwing, am I going to have to buy a new Moto?

There's no way of running the Motorola ROM on an HTC. There may be a launcher (what you call an "interface") that looks like the one on the Moto, and you can install any launcher.
