AC Question
Hi, I have recently updated my Samsung galaxy S5 to android version 6.0.1. Since this update, I am no longer able to perform updates on many of my apps from the google play store using wifi. The apps can only be updated using the mobile data (of which I have very little, hence the use of wifi!). I have tried all of the following:
- Cleared the cache for google play, google play services, all of the wifi applications, the download manager, and all of the apps that won't update.
- Cleared the data from google play, google play services, and the download manager.
- Removed my google account and re-added it.
- 'Forgotten' the wifi and re-input all of the info.
- Turned the phone on and off plus removing the battery.
- Tested the phone in safe mode.
- Performed a full factory reset.
Unfortunately none of the above things have worked and I am at the point where Samsung are telling me I will need to send the phone back. I would like to avoid that if possible, is there a fix for this that I have overlooked?
Many thanks
