I have managed to break the screen on my Xperia Z3. I can see the screen it just doesn't respond to touch. I have used a mouse to operate the phone, but what are peoples ideas on the best way to retrieve all of the data from the phone? Sony Companion is useless as once I plug into the PC I have to choose an option from a menu, which I can't do as I need to unplug the mouse from the phone to connect to the PC

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forums. Can the PC file browser pull the files you need?

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of data are you trying to retrieve? Be aware that locally saved contacts and calendar events (i.e., those saved to the local Phone account, and not the Google account), as well as SMS messages, are stored in an SQLite database file in a protected system directory. This means you can't access it unless the phone is rooted.
