How Do Stop the Initial Swipe and Use Only a Pattern to Open My Samsung Galaxy Sky?

Hi. I am trying to figure out how I can stop the initial swipe and use only a pattern to open my new Samsung Galaxy Sky? I currently have a Moto E and I have no problems getting to the phone's homepage, I just use a pattern security set-up and there is no need for an initial swipe to get to the pattern security page. That is how I want the Samsung Galaxy Sky to be set up. Thank you.

As far as I know, there isn't an option for removing that in Android as of Marshmallow (5.0)
