I've looked through the menus, and can't seem to find a way to remove that icon from the resting Always On screen. As far as manipulating the icon in general, I know I can remove the percentage amount from the home screen... but that's it. How do I get it to go back to displaying just the notifications, and not the battery icon on the Always On screen?

Don't you just love it when they inject a new "feature" you don't need or want? It's just like the notification of airplane mode... I guess it's to make it easier to switch it off, but to see this blaring white notification constantly pasted to my lock screen and notification shade is a pain! I already know I'm in airplane mode, I did it on purpose, and I know how to turn it off... I don't need any &*@$# help!

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I just felt like ranting a bit! I hope someone knows how to get rid of your new "feature".
