My Samsung galaxy tab 4 won't charge. What can I do?

I haven't charged my Samsung galaxy tab 4 in 2 years and I charged it today but it just won't Charge. What should I do to fix this situation?

Welcome to Android Central! How long did you leave it plugged into a wall outlet? Leave it plugged in overnight, undisturbed, and see if it has started charging by the next day. If it doesn't seem to be charging, then try a different charging cable/plug. If that doesn't work, then the battery is probably dead, and would have to be replaced (which may not be worth the cost, considering the price of newer, comparable tablets).
