I've been using PDANet/FoxFi as a mobile hotspot on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and this has worked fine until 2 days ago. I have grandfathered unlimited data with Verizon and purchased the full version of PDANet/FoxFi several years ago and have had great results. Suddenly, it's no longer working for me to use as a hotspot to simply watch Netflix or Amazon Prime on my tv. My phone used to recognize itself as a connected device - usually saying the Samsung phone was a Kindle when using PDANet/FoxFi. The phone no longer recognizes itself as a connected device. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the full versions of PDANet and FoxFi, done a full shutdown of the phone, etc., but it's still not working. Any ideas on how to get the phone to recognize itself as a connected device again? Note: I have an iPad mini and the phone recognizes it as a device, so I'm not sure what happened within the phone.
