Why do android and google tablets fail to connect to netgear routers?

my Pixel C and Nexus 9 will not connect to the Netgear26 router.

Have you rebooted your router? Your topic is quite the blanket statement that is certainly not the case. I run a Netgear router and have had NO issues with my phone and tablet connecting.
