Screen lock is set to PIN no option for pattern or password or none

Android 6.0 moto x pure, Device security shows Screen Lock PIN only, no option for password, pattern or none.

You tap the PIN lock and you have to enter the PIN - then the whole list should show when you tap the lock method. (It's also possible that the carrier removed some of the options.)

You have to enter the PIN before you'll be allowed to change it to another method.
