The route of my run is not shown in the map of Samsung S Health?

This started recently where I get the correct time and kilometers but in the detailed info for a particular run the map showing the running route is distorted. It shows diagonals only or skips kilometers showing only start and finish. I am concerned whether the gps is working correctly and if my end result of km made and pace is the true one.

Are you running under trees that have leaves on them? The GPS signal won't penetrate heavy leaf cover. Or anything else that blocks a satellite signal, like the "canyons" in a heavily-built-up city. So the phone sees you at point "A", then at point "B", and has to guess how you got from one to the other.
