Ok, so I have a galaxy s5 and yesterday I dropped my phone on its side and it dented the volume button (I can't turn the volume down using the button). Anyways so the rest of my phone was fine but today my phone died and when I turned it back on its now in safe mode and it won't come out of safe mode. This is really frustrating, is it due to my damaged button? How can I fix this? (I've already tried all the possible ways of restarting my phone and it hasn't worked)

Safe mode on gs5 is entered by holding the home button when the phone boots sounds like it is sticking.
