Why do I get Error code 504 whenever I try to Install facebook on my samsung galaxy S6 Edge

I went go to google playstore, downloaded facebook plus the update, but when it comes to installing it brings error code 504. So please help me fix this so that I can access my account on my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?


Try going to the App Manager, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.


If that doesn't work, try going to Settings>Accounts-Google, select your Google account, and remove it completely from the phone. Then add it back again, and see if that helps.
