My new AT&T Samsung S7 stock email client brings deleted emails back. The deleted emails (IMAP account) keep returning. Is there any fix for this? Samsung says no, I have to use POP. Any thoughts?
Welcome to Android Central! That's strange, because the way IMAP works, deleting the email on your phone should sync immediately with the server, thus deleting it from the server. Open the Email app, tap Menu>Settings, then select the email account. Look for an option to edit the account settings -- is there anything related to keeping or deleting emails on the server?
