Internet apps not working despite internet being connected

[AC Question]

Hi

All internet based apps (2 x emails, Google, weather, etc) have suddenly stopped working despite being connected via mobile network to my provider.

To test I also connected to internet via Wi-Fi and then via Bluetooth to another phone but despite both connections working apps requiring internet still aren't working.

Also tried a restart.

Phone is Samsung J1.

Thanks. I've just tried that now but it didn't work. I managed to get it working again briefly by removing the sim card and putting it back in. I think it's a fault with the phone.
