Why does my new only charge when it's off

[AC Question]

I was using my galaxy s7 edge while it was charging and all of a sudden it stopped charging. Now the phone no longer recognizes when the charger is in. The only way I can get a charge is if I turn the phone off and even then it takes a long to to charge. Can anyone help?

Have you tried a different USB lead?
