Sync error : Failure communicating with google servers.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a new tablet a "softwinner a33". When I turned it on and tried to sync my account, i keep receiving "error communicating with google servers". I wiped play services and store out, I've now been able to log in, but play store crashes as soon as launched, also my accounts are shown in settings but says "sync error" (tried with multiple accounts). I'm completely stumped at this point. I've tried downloading new play service and store apk but keeps coming back to sync error. If anyone could please enlighten me on the problem it would be greatly appreciated!
