Snapchat error - There was a problem connecting to the server. Please try again.

The app has been showing this error each time that I log in, but doesn't seem to limit anything. However, when I try to add friends through my contacts it says my address book is empty - It isn't, I have hundreds of business and personal contacts in it.

How can I resolve this?

I have the same issue..
I am using custom ROM..
I charge the Android every week..
When I was on any marshmallow/lollipop ROM Everythingis just very good..
But when I use any Nougat (android 7) ROM I am facing the same issue... No hacks are solving the problem.. So tired with this..!!

Please need any proper solution..!!

I am also having the same issue. I've tried all the tricks on YouTube and tried to reset my phone. Tried to switch the time format from automatic to 24 hour, and back again. I've tried to add a different contact group to my phone. It's not a profile issue since I am able to login to snapchat on my tablet and do not receive the error and am able to add friends via the address book. Any help would be appreciated since I know there's many out there with the same exact issue!
