How did you do the factory reset? The screen lock should be removed after that.

Welcome to Android Central! Was this always your phone? If it was someone else's (e.g., you bought a used phone), and if they did a factory reset without first removing their Google account properly, it's considered an unauthorized factory reset (which then requires that Google account information and password to be entered after the factory reset).

Ok but is there a way around the google lock if that is the case. I can bypass and access most of my features but its a hassle and its not all of my features

What is the problem you’re experiencing? Are you saying that you’ve forgotten your Google account details? What do you mean when you refer to bypassing and accessing most of your features?
