galaxy s7 will not allow me to install power amp as default player

trying to install power amp as my default player but it won't give me the option

I'm not sure as to what's happening. So you download poweramp. Use it. Where are you trying to set it as default?

Welcome to Android Central! You don't select apps as a default when you install them -- you wait until you do something that requires the selection of an app to complete the action. So what happens if you go to My Files, find a music file, and double-tap it. Do you get a choice of apps to open it? If so, select PowerAmp, and then select "Always" when prompted when you want this app to open this kind of file.
