download pic from a regular sd card to a galaxyS7

I have a trail cam that uses a regular SD card I would like to download them to my phone with out putting them on my laptop and then on my phone is it possible, and how would you do it?

You probably need to be a little clearer about "with out putting them on my laptop".
Getting the computer involved is probably a requirement. However, copying the files to the computer's hard drive may not be required.

You need to put the SD card into something that can read it. Some phones have the ability to have card readers attached to them.

Or you may be able to connect the two devices and move the files between them..
