Moto g3 says insufficient storage for apps

AC Question

My moto g3 says insuffient storage for new apps but I have a 32 gb SD card installed as extra internal storage for the device. There is 28 GB available on SD card and 1gb available internal. My pictures are set to save on external, and apps are set to save on SD card as well. I don't understand why this is happening. Also, I already cleared cached data on both.

Sounds like android is trying to install the apps on the local storage instead of the SD card. The quick-fix would be to move data thats on the phone to he SD card like pictures and such. That way it wouldnt matter where android is installing the apps because both would have free space.

Hope that helps

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that you formatted the card as Internal Storage (i.e., Adoptable Storage), rather than Portable Storage?
