How to fix video issue - HTC M9.

[AC Question]

I have an HTC M9*, where i cannot play any video through youtube, facebook etc. and furthermore the video camera doesn't work.

Android Version: 6.0; HTC Sense Version: 7.0

On youtube i get the following error: "There was a problem while playing (Playback ID:.....) Tap to retry."
On Camera i get the following error: " Video recording stopped due to an error" followed by "Unable to save video because it contained invalid content".

If i restart the phone it works again but the issue re-appears in a few hours. I have tried clearing caches on all apps. without restarting but this doesn't work.

Only solution is restarting every few hours which is very frustrating. Please help!

I have an HTC M8 with the same Android and HTC versions, and have the same problem with the video camera not working, with the same two error messages. Subscribing to see if anyone knows what's going on. Only started happening today.
