Why is Maildroid not recognizing its own CryptoPlugin?

Hello,
I am using Maildroid with the recommended Crypto Plugin for PGP encryption.
Actually when you first recieve an encrypted mail via Maildroid, it automatically directs you to that plugin on GooglePlay. So i downloaded it, installed it, and imported my PgP Keys.
But for some reason, whenever I try to decode an encrypted email, it just directs me to the app market again. It does not recognize that the plugin is aready installed.
This is very frustrating.
I am using Android 6.0.1
