Password required upon reset glitch?

[AC Question]

So I enabled the security function where it requires the password upon reset/booting up. I made the phone reset and it started to boot and asked for my password, after i entered it, the phone showed an unlocked lock with a blue/green circle around it. The picture of the lock and the blue/green circle has been playing for quite awhile now. It is not frozen because the lights on the two buttons next the the home button light up around 10-15 seconds after I click the screen. It is however not completing the reset, its just stuck with that unlocking screen going on forever. Anything i can do? I've tried resetting it again using the power and volume down button but it did not help.
