I have an old (but was running well) Samsung Galaxy S3. This morning the phone was on charge and it randomly rebooted itself whilst I was using it to chat on WhatsApp.
When I went to use the phone all my contacts stored on the device have disappeared. I have 12 contacts remaining (from about 250) and all of those appear to be saved to SIM.
Everything on other forums surrounds re-booting, syncing to Gmail to recover. Unfortunately my phone wasn't backed up to Gmail and rebooting hasn't worked nor has playing with the show all settings on the contacts app (this was already selected).
Can anyone please help?
