I've had this problem for a good 6 months, have called and taken phone to Sprint 5 times, installed latest updates, removed email accounts and reinstalled and cleared the cashe to no avail.
Using the email app phone came with, I may check email at 10 AM and phone goes through the motions but no new emails come in. I can do this frequently for hours, and no new emails. Then maybe around 3 PM, about a dozen emails come in time stamped from 9 AM and later. Sometimes it helps 'push' them if I send myself an email.
Also, if someone sends a PDF file or photo, it comes in as a .dat file.
Any suggestions other than running it over with my truck?
