The "clipboard" is a hypothetical storage location within your smart phone/device. The best way to explore your device is by connecting it to your computer and search through the files and folders. But typically data/images etc is forced saved to the DCIM location either internal storage or the SD card, depending on the preset or if a file location wasn't created by you.
TOASTERvan has a great answer. In addition, unless you have already installed and set up an app you will typically only have a single item depth in the clipboard, accessible only by long-pressing in an appropriate editable "field" for the item you want to paste and then selecting paste.
