Cant set up an aol email account on my Samsung s7.

I have tried numerous times and every time I try to sign in it says either my screen name or password is incorrect. I took it to my Samsung Skills instructor tonight and he couldn't do it either so he said my screen name or password "must" be wrong like the phone says. I know they aren't because I use them everyday on my laptop and desktop. Thank you for any help, but please know I'm a senior with my first smart phone and not very adept with it yet since getting it at Christmas.
