So today for the fourth time my G4 has decided to suddenly delete all of my saved photos from my phone. At first I thought that it could be a ****ty Micro SD card so that had corrupted and removed them, so I started saving the photos to the Phone's Internal Memory. It seemed to work fine but at some random point it would delete all of my saved pictures. It doesn't effect any other saved files and even held my locked pictures. I'm going crazy, I've lost at least 5-6 hundred photos at this point.

Using a file browser app, are the pictures still on the storage and just not seen by the Gallery app?
Or, are the photos really deleted?
Are the photos JPG files are raw/DNG files?

Welcome to Android Central! This shouldn't matter, but is your Smart Clean option turned on? If so, maybe it's mistakenly deleting your photos, thinking they're "junk files."

Good point. The default "Smart Cleaning" app wants to delete your DNG files.
