AC Question

I bought a used Samsung Galaxy Note 4 half a year ago. It's a little over a year old now in total and it has worked well. When i got it from it's previous owner it looked almost brand new. But about 2 months ago my phone suddenly got a really weird problem. It's almost always impossible for me to receive/send SMS, receive/make call or receive on mobile data. It happens rarely like 2 times a day that my phone actually manages to get connection. And then i get the SMS that were sent when my phone were offline and i'm able to make/receive calls. But it only lasts for a couple of minutes, and then the problem returns. It's extremely annoying and makes my phone almost useless. I have been to repair shops, but haven't been able to figure out the problem. Or even if the problem is cause be a bug in Android or a malfunctioning component. However, since my phone sometimes decides to work, i suspect it's a bug in Android. Since if my phone was broken, it wouldn't have worked on any occasion. Wifi works great always, so it seems to be untouched by it. I really need your help guys. I used a lot of money on this phone and buying a new one would be lame.

Have you asked the carrier to check the SIM, or tried another SIM, or tried your SIM in another phone?
