So I recently got an s7 edge and I want to uninstall Skype and Photos because I don't want them to be taking up any space - especially photos since it seems to sync everything. But I only get the option to disable it and nothing else. How do I get rid of them completely?

You need to root your device. I caution you that it used to be that removing pre-installed apps will cause issues with future updates installing.

You can't uninstall bloatware. Disable works fine, kill all permissions too.. Rooting is extreme and often ends in tears. Don't go there..
In addition, I have a firewall that blocks any traffic from unwanted apps...
